This shoot happened in March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. In that moment, it seemed like everything about the way everyone worked needed to be reinvented – including how we gathered and prepared photos. This photographer and his girlfriend went out to the wilderness with a roll of mylar (i.e. the silvery background stuff) to shoot the Levis x White Mountaineering collaboration. I just love how the mylar looks like mountains – we worked to shape and help it in that direction during retouching.
